Very satisfactory. Service and truck rental was not exceptional, but adequate. No complaints with the online reservation, pick-up, and app-based after-hours drop-off process. On street parking was pretty handy.
Awesome people needed the truck longer than expected they went out of there way to make sure that i,could keep the truck longer than I needed it thank you so much for the awesome service and understanding
Pretty darn useless. Made a reservation online for 6 am. Called the night before to confirm we could indeed pick it up before opening hours and were told yes. Arrived to find a closed shop, and no vehicle assigned to us as we were told we had. Called their 24/7 number online and was told they were sleeping and couldnt help us at all in spite of our reservation. Showed back up at 7 and our truck wasnt their and the response was, s*** happens. Met with hostility at the front door. Customer service is dead.
This is u-haul is not run well. There was a fire their last year and they weren't very open about that or the cause. Also, the place has a problem with on site management. The front gate has been open for around 2 weeks now and any one can come and go. Also, twice in the 2 years my boss has used this place, they have dug up the pavement to repair the drainage and it took them a long time to finish the job. People were inconvenienced for weeks.
U-Haul is a complete joke. First off, you're user experience online. Why would you allow me to choose a time for pick up and location and then confirm an hour later with a different time and different location?! This seems so backwards, why not just ONLY allow me to book whats available instead of confirming something I did not want? Now to the real problem. U-Haul confirms my pick up for 11:30 and the right location (after I had to call and change it after the fact) they send me a confirmation text. Next I call an hour before pick up to confirm, yup everything is still good, but when I get there they tell me that it would be ready until 12:50 and that this was always the reservation time. After showing the employee by confirmed text from U-Haul, he replies "we have nothing to do with that" - which is absolute bs. Now I would have totally understood if the last renter was late, or if it was a small pick up location like at a corner store, but this is a U-Haul facility. I will never use them again.
