Very helpful staff. I was asking about how to know if my son's strider bike needed replacement wheels or just some air, Sunny, helped me by trying his best to pump up the wheels (tried all his pumps and took around 30mins) but none worked so he referred me to a bike store right across the road. Really happy because he went beyond my expectations. Good job to you Sunny! Keep it up.
Found exactly what I was looking for despite it being off-season merchandise. Pleasant exchange with a staff member which is always a bonus. While this visit was not car-related it's been my experience that automotive staff don't "talk down" to women or try to needlessly up-sell them. Cdn Tire has come a long way since its early days here in Surrey, and the changes appear to have all been for the good.
I had a really nice experience last week in the store with a staff member Margaret who was mixing paint for me. She was super helpful because I usually buy my paint from Home Depot but they could not get me the color I wanted and I am not sure why but I came here and she was so great. I asked to speak to her Manager and Cavelle the General Manager was walking by at the time. Margaret said my General Manager is right here if you would like to speak to her. She was a very nice women and was so thankful for the positive feedback. I had a great interaction with her. Thanks for making my day ladies.
I always love shopping here. There is so much selection and if you buy things when there is a sale you save so much money! Customer service is great too.. I had bought a shelving unit that I did not notice that the one side was open and someone stole the assembly kit. So they had absolutely no issues helping me exchange it for one that did.
The store is smaller, but kept rather organized. They seem to have everything a larger location would have. My only complaint is that everything is locked up. They must have issues with shoplifting, or vandalism. Nearly every single tool is under lock and key. It kind of makes me feel unsafe coming here. But a store has to do, what needs to be done if there is a problem.
