We were late and we had booked in advance for two nights. Unfortunately we were not able to make it for the first night and we thought we would be charged for two nights..they refunded us and charged us for one night, and they also let us check in super early.The staff is super friendly and the rooms were clean and organized.Fully satisfied!!
Stayed there during a business trip due to everything else is being booked. Nice comfy rooms with balconies overlooking the pool. Can get loud if there are lots of kids playing in the pool. Beds are comfy, service is nice. Giving 3 stars because the restaurant menu isn't that great, and the balcony doors need to be better insulated. Otherwise great place to stay for families.
Room was relatively clean, but very dated. Bathroom light was burned out. No continental breakfast, not even a coffee bar, just terrible in room coffee. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Lots of parking, even for large vehicles. No restaurants within walking distance but there is a decent restaurant overlooking the covered courtyard inside.
Worst service ever and NEVER coming again! We had called 2-3 hours earlier to check to see if we can check in early since it said we could. We werent and they said our rooms would be available at 3pm check in time. We get there around 3:15 pm and they tell us the only one room was available and we had reserved werent ready, when we had confirmed earlier they would. They said MIGHT be ready in an hour. We woke up at 5 am in the morning and were tired. There was a party of 8 people! I asked them to refund part of our money since they didnt have our rooms available even after confirming prior.They than gave us two other rooms. A couple or hours earlier I went to get shampoo and conditioner for other family members since its mostly women and we would need more shampoo and conditioner and soap. I ask for two sets which has shampoo, conditioner and soap. And one extra bar of soap, she only gave me two bars of soap and said it would be brought up later. IT WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP LATER!They have the DRIEST CRUSTIEST TOWELS EVER! The hotel is run down the queen size rooms they gave us well it really is a full bed. Not only that I heard them say it had SINGLE beds! Ridiculous!
My previous visits to The Pacific Inn Resort & Conference Centre located in White Rock over the last few years have been great. Very professional with clean rooms, always treated with respect and any certain needs were met very well. However, up until last week I realized it would be my last visit to this location. New management has seem to take over, as the young lad Nathan sits at a very powerful position within the hotel after moving up from what seems to be previously; a lesser position. Nathan abused his power from the first time he introduced himself and came across very rude to the group I was spending my time with at this hotel. In fact it was shortly after check-in when Nathan began lurking through the hallways showing disrespect and lack of privacy to other guests before he arrived at our room with the humongous chip on his shoulder. Referring to our group as idiotic irresponsible and undeserving of staying here. Nathan then began to threaten to remove us permanently; 45 minutes after arrival. The reason behind these remarks is due to simply moving furniture around the room to better suit our needs of the group in the average size room, we were given no warning. Nathan had barged into our room with 2 security guards and began taking photos of our group and the furniture which had been moved around the room, without any permission. We were not being loud, or disrespectful to the other guests or Nathan in anyway. Shortly after his comments he made stated above, we had asked to speak with his General Manager. Nathan confidently agreed thinking we were not being serious. As we approached his GMs office he began to realize the stupidity in his comments he made towards us over something so little. Blaming his actions on a long day and having to stay later than expected he then began to show sympathy towards us before we reached the GMs office saying that everything was alright and we had nothing to worry about. As we arrived back in the room we received a phone call from Nathan apologizing again, saying; If we needed anything he would be able to assist us in anyway possible. However, we found this quite ridiculous and almost as if he was trying to cover up the fire he had already started. The atmosphere in the room changed after this and for the rest of the evening at this hotel. We could no longer enjoy ourselves due to the comments made by Nathan and the feeling of not having a place to stay that night if we did not act accordingly. The Pacific Inn is a beautiful hotel dont get me wrong, but its because of people running it like Nathan that make it a less enjoyable place to stay. You can have a much more enjoyable visit at the Best Western or any random motel, just for the peace of mind knowing you wont be called names or have any issues by this man abusing his power. Plus, youll save a hell of a lot more money as-well. I hope your stay (if you choose to go here) will be much more enjoyable than the one my group and I experienced.1/5 stars
