The price was a little high for the hotel. It is clean. Has free good breakfast, free parking, friendly staff, small indoor pool and hot tub. It is very basic in style and slightly dated but well cared for. It is very far at 30min to a hour to the downtown area. I was very happy with my experience because all members of the staff were great to my family and me, we can enjoyed the pool and had no concerns while there.
The hotel was clean with a pleasant decor. Rooms were nice as were the fitness room and pool areas. Staff was courteous and helpful. Everything was well stocked, and the breakfast was comparable to a good restaurant. For those, like me, who stay away from gluten were pleasantly surprised to see many gluten free choices. Our group was overall very pleased with our stay.
Felt a little sketchy as we drove up as we had to access via an alleyway to the back of the hotel, but this hotel surpassed all our expectations.Staff was friendly and went the extra mile. The rooms were clean, modern and quiet. Breakfast was fresh with many options. Kids enjoyed the pool over and over. And all for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again.
The room was clean and good sized. There was an odor (possibly a previous smoker) that had been deodorized.The staff we had contact with we're courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were only there for a night. It was convenient (30minutes) for the early morning ferry to Victoria Island. Not much to do in Surrey.
Surprisingly, a great place to stay! Don't let the name fool you. I had prior notions that Best Westerns were economy class and therefore economy feel. Not the case at this place. Also, the front desk rep named Aman was incredibly professional, courteous and helpful. We instantly felt warmly welcomed! When I come back to Vancouver, I won't hesitate to stay here again.
