If you're looking for name brand or special services you won't find it here. This is a basic food store. No fancy name brands, no bakery, deli or meat counter, or cheese corner. What makes this place great are the bargains you can find such as Campbell chicken or beef stock that are around $2.00 at a larger store, you'll get for $1.29 or canned tomatoes; $1.89 vs $0.79. They may not be a name brand but Unico is just a label on a can of tomatoes which is really all it's about.You just never know when you're going to get a great sale for something you need. It's a no frills store.
I go here all the time prices are fantastic, the only thing you have to look out for is the expiry date on the items though. Some of the items are cutting it close!
Found almost all I needed except for the cilantro. Staff was helpful and nice. Prices were decent and produce was too. Parking was easy now that the restaurant next door closed.
You will be surprised at the bargains you can get. Not everything is a deal. You have to watch the prices. Watch the flyer and shop accordingly. Otherwise you can get lots of things inexpensively. The same for all No Frills.
Wonderful store! Wide selection of produce and groceries at great prices! The store is clean and well organized, and the staff are always accommodating and approachable as well. Highly recommended!
