Such interesting food items! Large variety. Weird and wonderful. Great prices. Take a walk into another world of food. Wish we had one in Victoria or anywhere on Vancouver Island. Will definitely come again when we are in town. :)
T&T Supermarket has all the products you need to make an authentic Chinese meal. They have everything from rice to fresh vegetables and meat. They also carry a large selection of fresh seafood and other delicacies. The bakery carries cakes made to order as well as other breads and pastries. Canned and dried foods are in abundance as well as pre-prepared foods. Need something quick and tasty for lunch? T&T also has a section for hot food ready to eat as well as a selection of sushi. This supermarket also carries a wide variety of household items just like any other supermarket as well as some small appliances such as rice cookers and steamers. Note that this is a busy place to shop and is often crowded. However they have a lot of cash registers open so the wait to checkout is usually not too long.
I think this is the better T&T of the two in Surrey. More hot food selection and larger selection of products than the 100 Ave location. It's more easily accessible by skytrain as well since it's located in the Surrey Central City building.
Wife and I wanted to buy chopsticks for home use and practice. Didn't know much going in to the store but a staff member was so very helpful explaining the different kinds in great detail helping us make the perfect choice for our needs prices are fantastic and selection was amazing. Big thank you to the staff member that helped us.
The store is nice but smaller than other T&Ts thus limiting what they can offer. I like that its quieter here though.
