I was very disappointed when I took my mother's car in for her to have a regular tune up. First I dropped the car off at 9am. Waited 40 minutes for my ride back. When I took it in I had mentioned there was some squeaking in the brakes and asked them to look at the A/C, since that didn't seem to be working. They said that would be no problem. There inspection special was, I believe $120. In which they checked the brake pads, fluid and regular tune up things. I was charged another $170 to look at the A/C only to tell me it what was wrong with it. I thought that's a little high to just look at something since you are going over the car already. Six hours later I got the car back. When I called them the next day to complain about the squeaking in the brakes, I was told I could make another appointment and be charged $240 just to look at them. I do know it only takes a bit of spray on the pads to remove the squeak which could have been done when they checked the pads. Also, I noticed one side of the pads seemed to be quite low. I'm no mechanic but I do know 2.5 mm is a low number. After talking with other mechanics they told me this was too low and I should have been told they needed replacing. It seems to me, the only reason they didn't tell me was so that I would have to pay the full price of them looking at. them again. Not to include the actual cost of the brakes themselves and the time for repair on top of that price. Overall, I paid over $330, plus taxes and service fees for some brake fluid and an oil and filter change.
After searching for the better part of three months for my first car, I narrowed it down to a Honda Civic or a Kia Optima. I made initial contact with both dealerships and Ming, the salesmen at the White Rock Honda was very professional, nice, easy going guy. He went out of his way to make my experience a great one and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I love my new car. It was also detailed very nicely and they are still emailing me even after they had my money to make sure everything is working smoothly. I got a great price on a beautiful 2013 Honda Civic Coupe which I've already had tons of compliments on. One lady even came up to me asking what I thought of the new Honda Civics. She couldn't believe mine was a five year old model.
These funny guys are trying to sell year old used car for the price of new one with falsely advertised test drive availability and losy tales about its rarity and exclusiveness. So my trip there was a waste of time mood and a good chunk of faith in humanity. I never liked those stealerships and this one is another brick in the wall of sleazy services and example of where you should not bring your $.
I am the third owner of a 17 year old Accord. Initially I had been taking my my Accord to the dealership it was originally sold at but MOVED TO WHITE ROCK HONDA approximately 13 years ago. I am a very loyal customer of White Rock Honda because I get treated with respect EVERY TIME I take my car in for servicing. This is my first Honda. I am a Honda fan for life. I have not had any major problems my car. I trust my car so much that I dont hesitate to hop in and drive across the country knowing that I will get to my destination without issue. Aside from the the manufacturing of the Accord the routine maintenance performed at White Rock Honda has kept me mobile and earned my trust. I REALLY TRUST THIS TEAM. They have never tried to up sell anything I didnt need. Their service fees are reasonable and often lower that the competitors and they know my car! They know what to search for and how to deal with any issues that may arise. I am going to get a new vehicle in the near future. I will purchase it at White Rock Honda. I will have it serviced at White Rock Honda. For too many people purchasing and servicing vehicles has become a very untrustworthy process. I used to be one of the car owners that did not trust dealers / repair shops because they were not honest and not skilled / well trained. That is not the case any longer because I KNOW I / my car will be well cared for. White Rock Honda is my go to car and repair dealership! It is fantastic having this kind of confidence and trust. White Rock Honda is a family owned / managed dealership. They have a vested interest in how the whole business operates. Great for us customers. THANK YOU WHITE ROCK HONDA!
Okay so basically I spent over a month researching and browsing across various dealerships across the lower mainland to purchase a new vehicle. After thorough research and test driving various cars, I decided to buy a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0 Touring. I could have ordered the car from any dealership, however, Jack was very humble, down to earth, honest and friendly and I was glad to purchase my new vehicle from him via this dealership. He offered me a good price and the general manager and business manager were also great. I had requested my vehicle to be in a specific condition when it arrived from the factory and I am thankful that my request was honored.A special thanks to Jack, Gus, Susan and Troy. I am a happy customer.
