Surprisingly large park with a variety of trails. Not usually crowded and fairly clean. A big part of it has no trees and hence, no shade so I wouldn't recommend going there in the blistering sun without water and a hat.For nature lovers: There is a farly large Eagle's nest high up in one of the trees and Eagles can often be spotted sitting up there.
Great place for walks... no fishing.... THIS PARK IS NOT 24 HOURS.... THE GATES CLOSE ANY TIME BETWEEN 745PM AND 1015PM...
If you go on a cloudy day there's more ducks than there are pedestrians. Very serene!
Ideal fo morning , evening walks but this is also a live Wetland which is home to many birds - excellent photography possibilities.
Good place for biking. Quiet and peaceful. However the area is prone to flooding and avoid during the rains
