Excellent staff
These offices house the most inhumane and disrespectful human beings I've ever encountered. All the way from their disrespectful security to their bilittling staff. Honestly my condolences if you are ever struck by a disability or difficult time in your life where you need income assistance. The "Ministry of Social Development" is supposed to HELP develop those in need and provide a SERVICE to those who need assistance. Instead they treat every single person who walks through their doors as if they were slaves and animals. Just in my last visit it was - 5 outside and they made a few of us in the queue stand outside in the cold until others left the building (mind you there were available seats in the waiting area). The government of Canada has a way to go in improving humane behaviour within their own offices.
I dreaded their "help" they provided to my daughters. She is extreamly anti-social and was not willing to talk to them at all. I told them about how she did not want to talk to them and yet they kept on calling and basically they made an appointment to see me as they came to MY HOUSE. They were EXTREAMLY unpolite and nothing but rude of my daughter's response when she told them she did not want to talk about how she felt. My other daughter was sleeping at the time that they finished talking to my other daughter and they SHOOK her to wake her up. They are not friendly and kept on pressuring my daughter to answer their questions she was not comfortable answering. I confronted them at the time she was leaving and she added "We aren't supposed to be friendly" but how are they supposed to "help" my anti-social daughter if they aren't friendly. I know that they aren't supposed to be necessarily "friendly" but they have at least been respectful considering they were in MY HOUSE. The way they spoke was just so blunt as if they didn't even care about our problems and their aura was just so negative. I'm NEVER going to have another "appointment" with them. If you could even call their "services" and appointment. Long story short, they were rude, unfriendly, pushy, disrespectful, negative, repulsive and those are just a tiny part of the bad experiences I had with those two women.
