My husband and I, both visitors to BC and 30 yo, were refused service despite providing two pieces of ID. The college(?) girl who was working the cash register was condescending, on a power-trip and in dire need of proper training and basic human courtesy.

Far away from liquor stores. This one's 'special', everywhere in the world I feel welcome being a tourist but here I've had a terrible experience from a uneducated unprofessional personnel.
Extremely rude employees. I forgot one item with my purchase and the employee said I had to wait in line again. Then her and the manager chose to agrue with me on proper customer service and hospitality. You guys make minimum wage, at least put on a smile and enjoy your day. Learning hospitality skills would be beneficial to your professional and personal lives.
